Ashe Juniper Pale Ale

Juniper has been used in brewing for thousands of years, not just as an ingredient, but also to filter the grain bed as the wort transfers from the mash tun to boil kettle. The bows from our local Ashe Juniper or “Cedar” contribute piney and… juniper flavor, while the ripe berries have an almost blueberry quality that sweetens and rounds out the delicious pale ale.
