Horehound Golden Ale

This Belgian Golden Strong was inspired by the Belgian candies and famous cough drops that use Horehound as their main ingredient. Horehound is very bitter, tastes licorice-esque, and when combined with the sweet, boozy banana and clove of Belgian yeast, it produces an incrdible beer that very closely resembles the candies we modeled it after.
